Question

misleading trial subscription

I subscribed for a "free" trial for 7 days. It said you could end the subscription within the 7 days or you would go to a full subscription for 19,95 per month... i didnt finish my project within the week, so i figured ill keep the subscription for 1 more month for about 20 euro's. Now appearantly the subscription changes automatically from trial to a year subscription in which you pay monthly. Stopping the subscription now would cost me 108 euro after the 20 euro's i already payed. This trial subscription is pretty much missleading and i would recomend anyone considering this not to take any trial subscription or any subscription with photoshop if you just need it temparary and dont want to be stuck with it for at least a year.

you actually started with a one year trial (if the cost was ~$20/mo) paid monthly.  you can check the costs and see a monthly trial is more costly, https://creative.adobe.com/plans

anyway, at this point you can plead your case with adobe support.  they are often sympathetic.  there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

    chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

    phone:

    twitter:
    tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true

When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription
-You also need to know that a subscription renews AUTOMATICALLY if you do not cancel during your 12th month
-see the Nancy O'Shea message dated 8-11-2022 (with a yellow highlited picture) in this message

If you are willing to pay more, SOME programs are available Monthly https://community.adobe.com/t5/Get-Started/Being-charged-for-a-full-year-when-i-m-on-month-to-month/td-p/10248222 - links and pictures
-the special Photography Plan is ONLY available on an annual plan, with monthly or 1 annual payment
