Move to a real monthly plan, not sign up for an annual plan

hi. i need to change plan so that new plan is genuine monthly not annual.  

I am trying to move from a Full creative cloud student and teacher plan, to a photography plan. They have added more hoops to jump through for confirming my education status and I just don't want to do it. I barely use any adobe products beyond Lightroom classic these days.

I want to  Switch over to the photography plan, and pay on a monthly basis, without an annual payment contract. When I go into the manage plans interface, there is no option in the drop-down menu for switching to a regular monthly cost rather than the annual plan cost, even if the latter is billed monthly.

I do not want to get stuck with an annual contract, I do not mind paying a little extra for a true monthly subscription to the photography plan. 

EDITING TO ADD: I am very disappointed in the lack of customer support available, or maybe they have just hidden it deeply within the website someplace. It seems like this matter could be addressed with a simple email or short chat session
