Question

Multiple Adobe ID's (one for Premiere + Photoshop Elements, and one for Creative Cloud)

Hi all,

Having a bit of trouble with Adobe licencing on my Mac device, running with the new Creative Cloud 'launcher.' I own a personal copy of Premiere & Photoshop Elements 2018, and an Education licence for Creative Cloud. Whenever I try to activate Premiere Elements, it puts me into free trial mode for my education account, which won't be useful after the 30 days. Alternatively, I can sign in to my other account, and then lose access to Creative Cloud. I have a valid product key for Elements, which is connected to my Adobe ID.

Does anyone have any idea how to go about with this?

(Sidenote: I don't think the new launcher has anything to do with this, but I though I'd mention it)

Thank you.

As above the License for the Elements programs is controlled, as far as I know, by the serial number.

Creative Cloud programs are controlled, activated, by your Adobe ID you used to BUY the subscription.

Although you may have to enter an Adobe ID during the install/activation process for the Elements programs (I don't know as I have never used any of the Elements programs) it can be any valid Adobe ID. So I suggest you try using the one you used for the CC account so there is no conflict trying to use 2 different Adobne ID's on the same computer. Then Enter the valid serial number or numbers for the Elements programs.

you can only activate one creative cloud license/account at any one time on any one computer.  you should not have a problem licensing (with your serial numbers) and using your elements programs and cc edu license at one time.
