My credit card payment gets declined because of the new RBI rules

My credit card payment for my creative cloud subscription got declined by my bank because of the new RBI rules on recurring payments.

I checked with my bank and they've said that Adobe needs to get some compliance stuff done.

Calling Adobe Customer care is useless because the calls get dropped after making you wait for a long while.

Trying to chat with customer support is worse.

Does anyone have any ideas on what can be done? Thanks.

Hi Kanika

Thanks for the article.

My card supports recurring payments. The problem, according to my bank, is that Adobe is a 'merchant non-compliant with the new RBI guidelines'.

So I thought I'd try option two: which is to cancel my subscription and then repurchase it.

I bought by subscription from the Adobe store which doesn't have a Cancel option.

Which means I have to talk to customer service, who are impossible to reach. I'll keep trying 🙂

Thanks anyway.

Hi Kanika

Just an update. I got in touch with your billing department. They cancelled my previous subscription and started a new one. So, all good now.
