My husband and I use Abode with 2 email accounts.

Why has the price doubled?

Thank you for your post, @melinda35149237fc9r.

I understand why this increase would be frustrating, especially when it comes as part of a renewal.

I reviewed the available account information and can confirm that you have a Creative Cloud Pro subscription that began in August 2025. Customers in Germany may be affected by recent Creative Cloud plan and pricing changes announced by Adobe. For more information about those changes, please see:

I also noticed that the subscription is currently past due. If you would like to continue using our services, you'll need to resolve the billing issue associated with the renewal.

This document explains how to retry a failed or missed payment and restore access to your subscription:

An Adobe subscription is only registered to one email address. If you are using two emails, that would indicate two subscriptions (unless using a Teams account, which is more expensive anyway).

Did you start with a promotional price and now you are paying full price?

As John stated, probably a promo price or an education/non-profit price. Promos default to regular pricing when renewing (it’s in the original agreement). Education/non-profit needs to be renewed each year with proof.
