[Need refund] [abuse removed by moderator]

I got played for $170 from Adobe. Well played. Did the trial, canceled before it ended, noticed 4 months later I was still being charged $20.99 a month still. Tried to cancel and theres a $95 cancel fee. There was never a mention that they still charge you even if you cancel nor did they mention a cancel fee. Absolutely disgusted. I just wanted to try it out. Literally used Adobe Premier for like 20 minutes and decided it wasn't for me and here I am paying $170 for 20 minutes of use. Will never use Adobe products again unless I'm refunded and compensated. However, considering how shady this scam was, I will not expect a refund from them. Worst part is they probably don't care and will give me a generic message that will end with my complaint archived. [abuse removed by moderator]

If you cancelled, you should have received a confirmation email.  Check your email inbox / spam folder.   There would also be a record of it in your account's support history panel.  Log-in below.

Please check the e-mail, Adobe did send you, when you took your plan. The conditions are clearly listed there in, and when taking your plan, you even needed to check a mark, that you explicitly agree with those conditions. I can understand that people do not read such things and simply check them off. I also understand that you are unhappy with your situation now, as you have an annual subscription, and for early cancel, you need to pay half of the remaining due.

Furthermore, when you cancel, you will get an e-mail for confirmation of the cancel. If the plan continues to run, you either did not cancel, or something went wrong. In both cases, you have to act.

I check my credit cards each month, multiple times, and get alerts when funds are getting retrieved. You can't claim getting charged for four months in a row, and not noticing the charge, except if you are really neglect in such important things. Calling this a scam is very likely a wrong claim.

This said, I recommend contacting Adobe customer care and negotiate your way out. Your chances for success are higher when you stay friendly. Don't abuse the poor individual on the other side of the line.

contact adobe support and resolve the issue. ie, if what you stated is true adobe will refund the erroneous fees.

there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
