Needing forgotten passwords to change Subscription Plans & cannot change this while logged in?

My issue is I'm unable to reset my password - since I've forgotten my current password - while logged in to change it. Any ideas to navigate this? I just want to change my subscription plan but I have to give my password (that I've forgotten) before I'm able to - despite being logged in anyway.

 

I suppose an option is to sign out and change password from there, as this suggests "Forgotten password?", but for some reason this time I'm worried this may not work and I'd be unable to sign in to my account ever again. Since the beginning, I have used Google sign-in and never needed my password. Surely this could be incorporated into the authentication of changing subscription plans instead of needing passwords or at least Google sign-in / any social sign-in to authenticate changing passwords while signed in too.

 

Any help or reassurance would be great, thanks!

You might want to consider using an encrypted password manager

 

I use the free version of https://www.lastpass.com/

 

I have one long password to start last pass, one that is significant to me that I won't forget, and all of my other passwords are encrypted and stored by last pass
