guys not going to lie... im well confused as to the changes... why cant i access my license key anymore and if i should happen to lose a key where would i get another?

lets say i back it up and my pc dies and whatever my backing up method corrupts... do i just lose £800+ worth of software??

you lose your ability to use old adobe software if you lose the activation key, the installation files, the activation servers are shuttered (ala cs2, cs3 and cs4) and if you can't find a compatible computer to install on.
