Old Photo Plan (20GB) to new 1 TB version (Lr, LrC, Ps)

I had an old Photo Plan with 20GB storage.

There was no option to directly upgrade to the 1TB version.

I decided to cancel the old plan (running out in November, since it was a yearly subscription) and purchase the 1TB version.

 

Now Adobe does not let me purchase the new version (since I "already have" the Photo Plan (20GB)).

The purchase option is not valid.

 

What do I need to do to receive 1TB of cloud storage immediately and to ensure that my data is kept and is not deleted?

I reached out to customer support via chat, who told me that there is no possibility to upgrade directly, as I have moved country. I was told that I need to delete the entire account and re-register within the new country. Since I did not want to loose any assets and photos in the cloud, I did not do so.

 

I struggled to change my payment method, since the option to change it was not easily available with a cancelled subscription.

 

Nevertheless, a day after my contact with the support the option to purchase the 1TB option was available. I also changed the country I am operating in at the bottom right of the website during the checkout process and the purchase finally went through with the new country payment option.

I can see that you have an active Photography plan (1TB). What helped you fix the issue with the purchase? Did you reach out to our support team for help.
