old user trouble signing in with new plan system

I have had  number of photo Elements and Premiere "back in the day" when you bought them. now it seems I'm stuck with a sign-in free account because I don't make money with Adobe so I'm not spending never-ending installments called "monthly". That being said with the "sign-in" process it tells me I'm all set, then loops me back to sigh-in.  it's been such a pain, I've stopped using Adobe altogether. But i just tried again tonight and fell into the "loop".  All this costs me TIME and I don't spend hours with an audo assistant, then a human and start from scratch only to find out I need to spend money or "they" can't help me or hand up.

Does anyone have some simple help/advice that will get me past this? At this point, after I have purchased Adobe products only to purchase upgrades over the years to end up with nothing I own/have that I have learned well, then have to change to another compant's software. That's what I don't want to do, but I'd rather invest hours learning something that I get to keep and grow with, without monthly fees. I don't lease my car. I buy it.

what are you trying to do?

use your older previously purchased adobe programs?  if so, are you being prompted to sign in to use them (probably because you installed a more current subscription program and now adobe thinks all your adobe software is subscription based)?

do you have any current cc subscriptions or any reason to keep anything cc on your computer?
