Ongoing Creative Cloud Access Issue — Redemption Code not Reissued Since 12/3 (Escalation Needed)

Hello Adobe Community / Adobe Staff,

I’m posting here because standard Adobe Support channels have been unable to resolve a critical account issue that has now been ongoing since December 3rd.

Summary of the issue:

  • My paid annual Adobe Creative Cloud subscription was interrupted when Adobe Support accidentally canceled my account, which invalidated a prepaid annual redemption code.
  • Support agents have repeatedly stated that a replacement redemption code has been “requested”, but that:
    • They cannot issue it themselves
    • They are unable to connect me to anyone higher up who can issue the code
  •
  • As of today, the issue remains unresolved, despite multiple contacts with support.

Current workaround (not acceptable long-term):

  • Adobe Support issued a temporary free trial on a second Adobe account, which allows limited access to apps.
  • However, my original account contains ~1 TB of Creative Cloud files, project history, and settings tied to my professional workflow.
  • I need full access restored to the original account, not a fragmented workaround across multiple accounts.

Why this is urgent:

  • I rely on Creative Cloud daily for professional work (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • The lack of access to my original account and files has caused significant disruption and risk of data loss.
  • This is not a billing dispute or a user error—the issue originated from a support-side cancellation and has stalled due to internal limitations.

What I am requesting:

  1. Escalation to an Adobe employee or team with authority to issue redemption codes
  2. Restoration of my original Creative Cloud account with full access
  3. Issuance of a replacement annual redemption code tied to that original account

I’m hoping an Adobe employee or community moderator can help escalate this, as frontline support has clearly reached a limit they can’t pass.

Thank you for taking the time to review this. I’m happy to provide case numbers, account details, or documentation privately if an Adobe staff member reaches out.

I'm having a similar issue. This started for me two days ago Jan 20th 2026 after updating my payment info because of warnings my Adobe Portfolio would be shutdown if I didn't. Odd it threatened me with that versus the creative cloud apps but whatever. The cards on file were updated and working so I'm not sure what the issue was.

Previously, around November 7th 2025 I purchased three 12-month subscription codes for Creative Cloud Pro and applied them using the redeem.adobe.com URL. It showed they were successfully applied to my account but there was an issue with my account after where I had two Creative Cloud Pro subscriptions. There were little notice highlights on the page saying it would take some time to sort it out and to check back. I did a few times and nothing changed. Then I forgot about it. In the past I've always just stacked the codes by applying multiple at a time and then had that much time before I was charged again or needed to get more codes.

Cut to Jan 20th where I updated my card details and then was instantly charged for the month of Jan and it's now saying I will be charged in Feb going month to month. I contacted support again tonight and said the best they could do was give me a month free for Feb and that I can wait 7 days and try the code again to get the 12 months. Nice of them to give me a free month but I was still charged nearly $70 for a subscription to products I already had paid for via codes and applied. Now I'm out $70 at a time I'm unemployed and finances are very tight. I don't need a free month. I need my money back in my account and my subscription I paid for already, working.

Any help with this would be much appreciated, Adobe.

I've already contacted support twice regarding payment issue and the issue overall but they have not been helpful. What else can we do here?

Thank you for checking — I appreciate it.

Just to reiterate for clarity: this issue has been unresolved since December 3, despite multiple contacts with support. The core problem is that no one I’ve reached so far appears authorized to issue the replacement redemption code or restore access to the original account.

I’m happy to provide case numbers, account details, or documentation immediately if that helps move this forward.

I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your update.
