Ongoing Creative Cloud Access Issue — Redemption Code not Reissued Since 12/3 (Escalation Needed)
Hello Adobe Community / Adobe Staff,
I’m posting here because standard Adobe Support channels have been unable to resolve a critical account issue that has now been ongoing since December 3rd.
Summary of the issue:
- My paid annual Adobe Creative Cloud subscription was interrupted when Adobe Support accidentally canceled my account, which invalidated a prepaid annual redemption code.
- Support agents have repeatedly stated that a replacement redemption code has been “requested”, but that:
- They cannot issue it themselves
- They are unable to connect me to anyone higher up who can issue the code
- As of today, the issue remains unresolved, despite multiple contacts with support.
Current workaround (not acceptable long-term):
- Adobe Support issued a temporary free trial on a second Adobe account, which allows limited access to apps.
- However, my original account contains ~1 TB of Creative Cloud files, project history, and settings tied to my professional workflow.
- I need full access restored to the original account, not a fragmented workaround across multiple accounts.
Why this is urgent:
- I rely on Creative Cloud daily for professional work (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- The lack of access to my original account and files has caused significant disruption and risk of data loss.
- This is not a billing dispute or a user error—the issue originated from a support-side cancellation and has stalled due to internal limitations.
What I am requesting:
- Escalation to an Adobe employee or team with authority to issue redemption codes
- Restoration of my original Creative Cloud account with full access
- Issuance of a replacement annual redemption code tied to that original account
I’m hoping an Adobe employee or community moderator can help escalate this, as frontline support has clearly reached a limit they can’t pass.
Thank you for taking the time to review this. I’m happy to provide case numbers, account details, or documentation privately if an Adobe staff member reaches out.
