originally purchased lightroom 3 while in school, updated on old computer, then switched computer, but don't have info needed to register and install on new computer

originally installed windows, then purchased a Mac back in 2013(thereabouts) bought a new Mac but having issues installing programs because I can’t find serial numbers from original program.

like i said, you can recover serial numbers from current installs, but that’s still too old to use.

but, if you want to keep trying, what windows os do you have?

When I bought the new Mac, I also bought a windows program for it… but it too needs wants to be updated ($$$) but I’m still on the fence.

I got lightroom to install, but it’s crashing at start I assume because it’s not completely updated and/or adobe is trying to get it to fail.

Actually, I don’t think a program from 2013 will work on a new Mac due to the many changes in the operating system… you’ll find out when you try to install that old program

you can recover the serial number from a current install, but that’s probably still too old to use.

Log in to your Adobe account and click this link https://account.adobe.com/products

If your serial number is not listed there nobody at all can help you… Adobe doesn’t support that old program, and other users in a public forum can’t see your account
