Overcharged

Tried to start Adobe on 24/12 after getting free download  in November.

On the 20/12/2019 after putting in my card details and seeing the cost I was to be charged I immediately tried to cancel by mail- hopeless by phone to 1800 number hopeless.

I have been charged the amazing amounts of $76.99 twice  on the 20/12 and 22/12 as well as a cancellation fee of$346.46 cancellation fee. This is gouging at its best. As an old age pensioner I cannot pay rent or buy food now. Please help me as this is entirely overcharging at its very worst.

If I don't hear from you to negotiate and settle this amount and provide a refund I'll be going to the ACCC as it will be illegal to charge these amounts under Australian Consumer law.

It sounds like you ordered twice. And then when you canceled early, you incurred a 50% penalty fee for the balance owed on both plans.  I suggest you contact Adobe Customer Care right away by online chat.   In the chat box, type Billing Agent followed by enter key.  Am agent usually joins the chat session within a couple of minutes.  If no response, try again with a differrent device or browser.
