Overcharged due to user incorrect status

My (dad's) credit card is used to renew my child's (student) account.  Student's status swapped from student to regular without our knowledge.  Note: student was always a student and fully enrolled throughout.  Adobe was contacted - asked for proof of status - recieved it.  All ok except I already paid yearly (not month-to-month) up front.

Will Adobe credit the overpayment (difference between regular rate and student rate)?

Thanks

emails are sent prior to renewal explaining the renewal terms.  ie, check the subscription email.

Good day. Thank you for your reply.

Assume that daughter never read the email.

Full price payment went thru.

Dad sees the bill; months later...

An I entitled to a credit?

it's possible you can get student pricing retroactively.  you'll need an adobe employee to tell you how to proceed.

Hi.  Thank you for your reply.  You are right, this email is not associated with an adobe account.  However, can you answer the standard procedure in the general case, where on JAN 1, a full standard payment is processed and then some months later, the account in question is found to be student (without any interruption in status).  In the case above, would a credit be issued?

Thanks.
