Hi @usman_2247,

We appreciate your patience. I checked your account details and found that you checked the box next to Adobe Stock 30 day free trial while subscribing to CC all apps. This is the reason you are getting charged for both. You can confirm it here: https://adobe.ly/4k2nD8e

Since the subscription is 2months old, there is no option to provide a full refund for the cancelation. As the expert mentioned above, you can check the subscription cancelation terms before proceeding with it.

I'm extremely sorry for the situation. Let me know if you have any other questions.

YOU ARE CHAGED BECAUSE  ADOBE TICKED the box FOR YOU!……...Users and consumer advocacy groups have often accused Adobe of "hiding" the Adobe Stock subscription through a combination of misleading design choices during the sign-up process and complex cancellation hurdles.

Recent Legal Action

In March 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice sued Adobe, alleging the company harmed consumers by "enrolling them in its most lucrative subscription plan by default" and failing to clearly disclose the high cost of cancellation fees. Adobe recently agreed to a $150 million settlement ($75 million to the DOJ and $75 million in free services to customers) to resolve these claims.

How the Subscription is "Hidden"

  • Pre-Selected Cart Items: During the purchase of other software (like Photoshop), Adobe has been known to automatically add an Adobe Stock subscription to the user's cart. Users must manually find and remove it before finishing their purchase.
  • Automatic Trial-to-Paid Conversion: Many users sign up for a "risk-free" 30-day trial of Adobe Stock. Once the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid annual subscription, often with a monthly billing cycle that makes it look like a standalone monthly plan.
  • Early Termination Fees (ETF): While the subscription is billed monthly, it is often an annual contract. If you try to cancel after the first month, Adobe may charge an early termination fee—typically 50% of the remaining contract balance—which many users claim was not clearly disclosed during sign-up.
  • Bundled Plans: Adobe Stock is sometimes bundled into "Creative Cloud All Apps + Adobe Stock" plans. Users may not realise they are paying for both services until they check their detailed billing history.
