Payment Issue
Good Afternoon,
I am a high school student who, about two months ago, signed up for the week-long free trial of Adobe to see if photoshop software might be used in an art project I was doing for assessment. Within a matter of days, I found that the software wasn't going to work for me, and I stress I haven't used it outside the free trial period. Before the end of the week, I went to cancel my trial, but I was unable to because of a "billing issue". I went to edit/fix my card details but as far as I could see, there was no error. I kept trying, but with no luck. I waited for a further e-mail with more information on this billing issue and when it arrived, it said that my subscription would be cancelled if I did not make the payment. Because I had discovered that the product was not going to be helpful I therefore felt that cancelling the subscription or having it lapse was for the best.
The final email, which I received a month ago, said "your subscription is about to be cancelled." I thought there would be no issue after this, however, I was checking my bank account yesterday and there were 60 dollars missing. Concerned, I checked my Adobe account. It seems that my billing issue was resolved and I'm now in a situation where I am being charged a monthly subscription for a product I have not used outside the free trial. Further, as I was unable to cancel at the end of my trial it would seem I have to pay the $140 early leaving fee.
I would appreciate assistance in ending my subscription please, without incurring the early leaving fee. As a student, I don't have a lot of disposable income, so I am also asking respectfully that Adobe kindly refunds the 60 dollars as well. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Isaac Gaitskell
