Question

? Phishing email or not

Hi. I received an e-mail reminder about annual renewal subscription due in January.  It had a "Click here" link to update my payment details.

Naturally suspicious, I forwarded it to Adobe report phishing and received the incredibly useless and annoyingly vague reply that "it appears to be genuine". (Needless to say I didn't click)

Can anyone from Adobe please tell me:

1) Do Adobe still send these type of emails out?

2) If so, why, when every other large company in the world have long moved away from this easy for scammers to copy method, are Adobe using it?

Thanks

Good reaction, but please change your username here. It should not include Adobe.

yes, about 1 month prior to renewal adobe sends an email reminding users of the renewal and the updated cost.

and i can't tell you why adobe would include a link, but i agree they should just list the site without making it clickable.
