Question

Plan dissapeared, can't use photoshop?

I've had a adobe photography plan for years, payment up to date, yet it's gone and no reference to it anywhere in my account, I need to use it today for work.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. My account says I have no paid plans.

Hi @MikaJay

Is there any chance you used two different emails? Try logging in under one you might have used.

In my initial frustration I tried every email I have plus an old one from many years ago.

Nothing came up, and like I mentioned, when I signed in with my most used current email, I had an account, just with no plan in it.

Thanks for your thoughts

Thanks all for the help! I really apreciate your time.

I'm not sure what was up, got ahold of a tech who had to work remotely for a long time to remove the old inactive software and install a new version of a plan with photoshop in it -although it's the same cost as my old plan that had the whole creative suite!

He looked and said there is no record of me ever having a paid plan, but I can see it on my most recent credit card bill.

Funny stuff, the long and the short of it is I had to buy a new plan, that is much inferior to my old plan for the same amount of money. Sigh!

The regular price for a Photography Plan costs approx the same as a 1 year introductory ALL APPS plan for Students & Teachers.  It sounds like you have been paying your school or some other entity for a Student plan.  That would explain why you don't see it in your Adobe account.

No I haven't been a student in 20 years!

Thanks for the thought tho!

Yes I can see that the plans have gone up dramatically since I bought my plan a few years ago.

My last credit card bill shows "Adobe" as the payee for a "Adobe Photography Plan".

My thinking is that they don't want to offer that plan anymore so they just dropped everyone on it.

The only way I could get a hold of a tech was by paying for a new plan.

There is no way to contact them at all in the situation I was in.

Thanks for the response.  🙂

Are you logged-in to your PAID plan in Creative Cloud Desktop App?

1. Open CC Desktop App.
2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
3. Click on your Avatar again.
4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
5. Close all apps.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Open CC Desktop app.
8. Click your Avatar.
9. Sign-in with your paid ID and password.
