Trials are only 7 days long, although you can get a complete refund if you cancel before the end of 14 days. After that, Adobe starts automatically billing you depending on which plan you chose, and the subscriptions automatically roll over at the end to a new one unless canceled. If you signed up for either of the annual plans, you'll be charged 1/2 the cost of the remaining length of your contract.

You must talk to Customer Support about this. They have some latitude about whether or not the cancellation fee is waived but it is at their discretion.

This is a public forum, not Adobe support. Users, including the Adobe Community Professionals, can't provide support for account, subscription, billing, download, or product activation issues. Support for those issues requires an Adobe employee.

Adobe provides support through the Chat function on the contact page or through a phone call. There is no email support.

contact adobe support.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
