Question

Please help! How do I temporarily cancel my subscription?

So, times are rough. I don't have the money to pay for my AE and PR subscriptions. I wish to cancel them temporarily until I've got the money to continue. However, when I try to manage my plans and cancel my subscriptions, i recieve a message saying that I cannot manage my plans until I update my payment information - i know what this means: I need to transfer some money into the bank account used for paying adobe, but I don't have the money. So, what now? I'm aware that my account will be suspended if I do not pay, but i just wanna cancel my plans until I can pay.

Is there anything I can do? If anyone has any answers, please help.
Thank you.

it means you have to fix your payment information before you can cancel. ie, there's some problem with your payment info.

https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/update-billing-information.html

and you can't temporarily cancel.  if  you cancel, your subscription cannot be renewed, but you can start another subscription.  it just won't be linked with your old one.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", contact adobe support.

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
