Question

Premium on mobile

I'm hoping to find help with an issue I've been having with my Lightroom Premium subscription.

I bought an annual plan in October 2025. I was using the premium features without any problems. But then - while still logged in with the same Apple ID - I started losing access to the premium features. It was intermittent. Sometimes clicking on restore purchase helped, sometimes restarting the app restored the features.

Not any more. I only have the basic functionality and nothing seems to help restore them.

What's causing that?

FYI, I logged out and used the primary email rather than Apple ID but that didn't help either.

Hi @MichalLDN! Thank you for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about your issue. If you logged in with your "primary email" manually, you might have inadvertently created a second, empty Adobe account. To fix this, sign out of Lightroom completely. When you sign back in, do not enter your email address. Instead, tap "Continue with Apple." This ensures you are using the exact account linked to your purchase.

Also, try this,

-Close the Lightroom app completely.

-Go to your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases.

-Tap Sign Out (this signs you out of the App Store, not iCloud).

-Sign back into Media & Purchases with your Apple ID.

-Open Lightroom and try Restore Purchase again. This forces a refresh from Apple’s servers.

If these don't work, don't uninstall the app yet (to avoid losing any un-synced photos) and contact Apple support to get more details about the status of your subscription.

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks a lot for that. I tried your suggested solution but unfortunately it didn’t work. I even restarted the phone uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged out, did all of that and still nothing.

It now says that I'm subscribed to creative cloud standard and my plan does not include Lightroom premium.

Which is not the case. Because even a few days ago, I was using features that are only available in the premium plan. It's terribly confusing.
