Price Increase Applied Before Deadline Mentioned in Adobe’s Own Email

I am sharing my experience regarding the handling of my renewal for the Creative Cloud Photography Plan and the subsequent interaction with Adobe support.

On December 10, 2025, I received an official communication from Adobe stating that the cost of my plan would increase from €9.99 to €15.12. The email clearly outlined that I had the option to maintain the original price by opting for an annual renewal before January 9.

However, prior to the specified deadline and without allowing me the chance to act as instructed, my subscription was automatically renewed at the higher rate of €15.12.

Upon reaching out to Adobe support to address this discrepancy between the information provided in the email and the actual charge incurred, my experience was unsatisfactory. The support representative (Adarsh) consistently disregarded the content of Adobe's communication and failed to acknowledge the primary concern. At one stage, I was advised to accept the price hike as it had been unchanged for a very long time - in a mockingly way.

Such a response was irrelevant and inappropriate. It neither clarifies nor justifies the premature increase in cost nor does it excuse Adobe's failure to adhere to their own written notification.

To clarify, my concern is not solely about the revised pricing but rather:
- Adobe not upholding the terms outlined in their email,
- the premature imposition of the increased fee before the specified deadline, and
- the dismissive handling of the matter by customer service.

I have retained all pertinent correspondence, invoices, and chat records. I anticipate a thorough review of this matter, either by honoring the originally communicated €9.99 rate or by issuing a suitable refund, accompanied by a transparent explanation.

And yes I know ±4 Eur is not that much, but it’s a 50% increase, and also that's on our lower plan

By sharing this here, I aim to bring visibility to the community and to Adobe, emphasizing the importance of transparent customer communication and billing practices.

First off thank you. Yes it renewed in January, I was going to go with the 99, eur/year option that Adobe gave me in the notice email. in order to maintain the value. However I was charged the higher amount even before the deadline (January 8th ) I was given until January 9 to update to yearly billing. See image attached
