Price increase greed

So I get notified by email today that Adobe is raising rates by 50% next month. 50%! I'm sorry, actually I'm not, but let me just say that a company that is so greedy that they raise their rates by 50% one even by the worst case scenario inflation is well under 5% just shows pure, unadulterated greed. Anyway, I'm gone. Cancel my subscription. It is not 2000, there are so many excellent alternatives out there, both paid and open source. Not only am I leaving the Photoshop ecosystem, I am leaving the entire Adobe ecosystem. I even removed Acrobat. I'm sure I won't be alone, the problem is a lot of people won't even see the email and they won't even care. But one of these days enough people will care and someone at Adobe will wake up and realise that they aren't the only fish in the sea anymore. Good bye. Next

I agree their are so greedy. I cancelled my subscription today, since the price went up quite significant. I only use Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign and Acrobat maybe once a week. They offered a standard bundle instead of the pro version and the price was difference was less than a dollar a month. Bye bye greedy Adobe.

and if you have the photography plan, there's no price increase for the annual pay plan.

I literally just posted this (apparently in the wrong section). I got an email today that my photography plan is increasing by 53% PER MONTH on renewal. That is absurd.

Have you been enjoying the 60% off student/teacher discount?

If so, you knew that was not going to last forever. It was an introductory discount for the first 12 months of service.
