I just got off the phone with a customer service representative that was more than willing to cancel my services rather than give me a discount that I asked for since I've been getting billed annually back in 2018. It certainly does not pay to be a long time subscriber so I'll be using one of the many free services that are available online now.  Update: After another call to customer support per their request I was given options for stated discounts available. Finding None. Upon telling the representative that there were no discounts she gave me a direct phone number to call and get said discounts. Guess what. She either gave me the wrong number intentionally or inadvertently.

I just had a customer service rep be more than willing to cancel my account rather than give me a discount that I asked for since I’ve been an annually paid customer since 2018. Then I posted about it here and they closed the review for replies. The bottom line is their service is too expensive. They keep jacking up the price on subscriptions that shouldn’t even exist anyway. And they silence anyone that discredits them. Par for the course of the world today. I’ll be using one of the many free services online from now on.

That may be due to your use of profanity in that thread.

We know it is a public forum, and not Adobe support, but if you can't warn people about Adobe's monopolistic practices here, where can you?

Just received a quote from Adobe to renew my licenses for next year, for $180k.

Here is the difference in price from last year to this year:

    2023 Creative Cloud:      $844.73

    2024 Creative Cloud:      $1121.52

An increase of 32% over last year.

    2023 Acrobat Pro:            $173.17

    2024 Acrobat Pro:            $259.08

An increase of 49% over last year.

Don't tell me that I'm paying for the AI tools that I didn't ask for, and don't work that well yet.  If you want to sell me AI, make it a separate product and let me have my software the way I'm used to it.

Exactly!  Ever since they went to a subscription model, they've lost many of their customers.  We don't need fancy features, we just want to edit the PDFs.  That's all! Why should I pay $20/mo for things I don't need!
