Received suspicious message after enabling 2FA – Need clarification

Hello,

I recently changed my Adobe account password and enabled two-factor authentication (2FA). Shortly after, I received a WhatsApp message from the number +44 7468 516404 mentioning “CodeVerify” and including a code.

This made me concerned because:

  • I don’t know if Adobe uses UK-based phone numbers for sending verification codes.

  • I don’t know if Adobe has any connection to “Code Verify.”

  • I want to confirm whether this message could be legitimately related to Adobe security, or if it is an external attempt to compromise my account.

Could someone from Adobe please confirm:

  1. Does Adobe use phone numbers like +44 7468 516404 for 2FA or verification codes?

  2. Is Adobe in any way connected to “Code Verify”?

  3. Can Adobe check if there were any unusual login attempts on my account around the time I received this message?

I want to make sure my account is secure and that I only respond to legitimate Adobe communications.

Thank you very much for your help.

wait. were you trying to sign in and therefore expecting a 2fa confirmation?

and you would expect your adobe security app to open when there's legitimate need.

I was enabling my 2fa. But the adobe website didn't ask me to login again.
I also received a sms from 33001 saying that my adobe account login setting just changed
