Hi, I’m trying to cancel my Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, but I’m being charged a CAD $77.97 early cancellation fee. I genuinely thought I was using the free version of Acrobat and did not realize I had signed up for an annual paid commitment.

I’ve also been charged CAD $29.11 every month since March, which I only recently realized. I’m currently experiencing financial hardship and these charges have affected my ability to pay my rent.

I’m asking if you can please make an exception, waive the $77.97 cancellation fee, cancel my subscription, and refund the recent charges. I did not knowingly intend to maintain a paid annual subscription. Please escalate this to a billing specialist if necessary.

For anyone else reading this… entering payment information when you sign up for a trial does mean that you need to read carefully… if you don’t cancel in the specified time your trial becomes a subscription, and there is a fee of ½ of the remaining time if you cancel early
