Refund in subscription after free trial denied

I had signed up for the free trial, during the course of the free trial period I was dealing with my grandmother falling ill and ultimately the day before the trial had ended, my grandmother had passed. I had never even signed back on to use the free trial. The day that I was notified my card was charged 99$, I called adobe and asked them to cancel the subscription and to refund the $99. My request for refund I was denied. And from the renew subscription email I just received, I guess my cancellation request was denied as well.

Until today, I had forgotten about being denied my refund request. So I am back now to escalate that request. During the year of this active subscription I have not once even signed on to any of adobe services.
How do I go about getting my money back for this unused subscription?

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. I understand how difficult it can be to keep track of subscriptions and billing matters while dealing with a family emergency.

From what I can see, your Adobe Express subscription started on 9/26/2025 and remains active. Based on the account information available to me, I am not seeing any recent cancellation requests or contact history associated with this account.

You can review your current plan details and subscription status by signing in to your Adobe account:

You can also review Adobe's subscription and cancellation terms here:

If you would like your refund request to be reviewed based on the circumstances you described, please get in touch with us directly:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

We can then go over the account and discuss the options available to you.
