Subject: Urgent Refund Request – Unauthorized $99 Charge
Dear Adobe Support Team,
I am writing to formally dispute a $99 charge that was deducted from my bank account today, 8 August 2026.
On 12 June 2026, I started what I understood to be an Adobe trial. At no point was it clear to me that I was committing to a paid subscription after the trial period. I was not aware that I had been enrolled in a paid plan, and I did not knowingly authorize a $99 payment.
What is particularly concerning is that the amount was deducted from my bank account today without any prior notification or clear reminder that a paid subscription was about to begin. I also have not used any Adobe program or service during this period.
I therefore consider this charge to be unfair and unauthorized from my perspective. I did not intentionally purchase a $99 subscription, nor did I knowingly agree to have this amount deducted from my bank account.
I respectfully request that Adobe:
- Cancel the subscription immediately, if one has been activated.
- Issue a full refund of the $99 charged to my account.
- Confirm in writing that no further charges will be made.
- Provide an explanation of when and how the paid subscription was allegedly authorized, including the relevant subscription terms and notification sent to me before the charge.
I hope Adobe will handle this matter fairly and promptly. As a customer, I believe I should not be charged $99 for a service that I did not knowingly intend to subscribe to and have not used.
Please treat this as an urgent refund request and confirm once the refund has been processed.
I look forward to your prompt resolution.
Sincerely,
Mujeeb Chohan
