Started a “Free” trial and was immediately charged and money came off my account!

Question

I wanted to download a pop art font. Adobe suggested a free trial to do so that ends on 13 December 2025. I said yes and it immediately debited money from my account!
Maybe it's because I already pay for photoshop, I don't know, but the LEAST they could do is warm me that the free trial is not valid for me!
Instead it just said 'start free trial' and then debited money from my account!

free trials have limitations (for obvious reasons).

if you want to cancel your subscription (or part of it), make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
