Student Plan

Question

I currently have after effects, without the student plan, but I wanted to know whether I can still add it to my account. I am a High School student and I didn't realize there was a discount for students, so how can I switch to that plan? And if I do switch will it get rid of my plug-ins and other stuff I added on there?
