Students in China eligible for student education plan

We are a design education college and have a couple of students who have enrolled to study in Australia, but due to the coronavirus will probably miss the first few weeks of class. Usually in week 1 all of our students subscribe to the education license and get the 70% discount for students and teachers; but for the students who will be delayed getting to Australia we want them to at least be able to make a start on their studies and to access the software. Can they get a student license whilst in China, and then can they change this when they arrive in Australia?

Do you buy direct from Adobe or do you use an Adobe Educational Reseller?

I live in Australia and buy direct from Adobe, and so do the students here. I did not know there was such a thing as an Educational Reseller? How does this work and how can I find a solution for my students in China?

To be honest, I've never used a reseller.  But I think you would need to find an AU reseller who can also sell in China and talk to them about your options.  See link below.
