Question

Subscribing to Adobe CS but not immediately using

Maybe a weird question, But I'll explain. First, the question: Is it possible to subscribe now to Adobe Creative Cloud even if I do not (yet) have a computer that can handle it?

Explanation: I was a Print Production Artist 7+ years ago but pivoted into a completely different career after a layoff. At the time (7+ years ago) I had a mid 2012 MacBook Pro that could still handle the load of Adobe apps. In those 7 years my Mac is no longer supported by Apple and I'm about 3 or 4 OS's behind the curve. I'm looking to get back into Production Art work but need to update my knowledge of the Adobe apps. I plan to acquire a much, much new MacBook Pro soon but I want to take advantage of the current Black Friday special going on in anticipation of getting the new MacBook.

Is this possible if I currently do not have a laptop that can handle the load?

yes, you can start the subscription now, and not install/use the apps until later.

    you're welcome.

and it might be worth your while reading the deal's fine print to see if you can buy it now and apply it later.
