Subscription active but email unknown

I am being charged every month for an Adobe After Effects subscription, but I no longer have access to the Adobe account associated with the subscription. Adobe Charge Finder only shows a partially masked email address, and I may have entered the wrong email address or made a typo when I created the account several months ago.

I have the invoice number and payment details for the subscription, but I am unable to contact a human support agent because I am currently logged into a different Adobe account that does not have an active subscription.

How can I recover access to the correct account or cancel the subscription to stop the monthly charges?

Thank you for your question, @Charbon.

I understand how concerning it can be to see recurring charges when you are unsure which account they are associated with.

I reviewed the account information available and do not see any active subscriptions associated with the account you used to create this public discussion thread. Since you are still seeing charges, then the subscription was created under a different account.

Please use the following resources to help identify the account associated with the charge:

    • https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/account-found-email-address.html

Please update this public discussion thread if you have any additional questions, @Charbon.

Hi, thank you for your response. However, I have already checked these resources, and unfortunately they do not solve my issue.

I have already used the first link you provided. It allowed me to retrieve the information needed to identify the charge using my payment details, such as my card information, the date of the charge, etc.

However, the second link does not work. I have absolutely no idea what email address was used for the Adobe account associated with the subscription. I believe I may have made a typo when entering my email address when I created the account months ago, so I do not know the email address associated with the subscription and I have no access to it.

The Adobe account I am currently using to contact you is simply an account I created/used to ask for help. It is not the account associated with the subscription.

In other words, I am currently paying for an After Effects subscription linked to an account that I cannot access and cannot even identify.

I have the invoice number and all the payment information needed to identify the recurring charge. Is it possible for an Adobe support agent to use this information to identify the account associated with the subscription and help me recover it or cancel the subscription?

I would really appreciate your help, as I am still being charged every month for an account I cannot access.

that 2nd link may have been intended to be https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/manage-your-account/cant-find-adobe-account.html
