Subscription Cancellation Issue – Still Being Asked to Pay

Hello,

I cancelled my Adobe Photoshop subscription on July 23rd. I received a confirmation email saying that the subscription would end on July 24th. However, I’m still seeing a message asking me to make a payment.

Could you please let me know why this is happening?

for more details and to make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms, select your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

Hi @siyun_8518,

We appreciate you writing in. As per your account details, you cancelled subscription to Adobe Stock. However the Creative Cloud Pro plan is still active since 8 months. This is the reason you are being asked to make the payment. You may check all the details related to your account here: https://adobe.ly/4o4mOOb

I hope it helps.

ie, you should have a 2 month penalty for canceling 4 months before the end of your 1 year obligation.

When you cancel:    You still have to pay 1/2 of whats left on your contract.

FOR EXAMPLE:  You sign up for 1 year, doesn't matter if you paid for a year all at once, or if you pay month by month- you have a 1 year contract.

On month 6 you decide "I'm done"- you would still have 6 months remaining on your contract.   You would still have to paye 1/2 of your contract remianing (3 months) to end you subscription.

Billing cycles are based upon when you first subscribed.  For me:  It's on the 3rd of the month.  That is when I pay my $10.85 each month.  Now I could see emails about cancelling, and billing, "crossing paths"-- so many emails are 100% automated "Send out the billing emails for July 25th at 11:59pm on July 24th sort of stuff.   You send in yoru request to cancel at 6pm on July 24th, and you get an automated response instantly, or pretty darn quick.
