subscription is such a scam

The way they set up their subscription service feels a whole lot like a scam. There was a free trial set up, and they make no iniative to send a courtesy reminder of your payments at all, so, like most busy people it is very easy to overlook the end of your trial. But instead of having some integrity and reminding you, they take your money and you enter into a "contract" for a year. This is also something they focus very little attention to if you are signign up. From there, if you cancel early it is a $99.95 fee to terminate early, on top of whatever months you have already paid for an unused service. It truly is so sleazy and sneaky how the business is operating and making profits. Plenty of people are happy to pay and use your services, why create such a negative brand image and reputation? I am unsure if they have a class action lawsuit in the works-but I certainly will not be surprised the day I see that and will 100% be participating. The company should truly be ashamed of their strategy to make money, and not making an honest profit from people.

I never ever used adobe I don't even want to have their program in my laptop. Total scam, so disappointed with them. When I tried to cancel my free subscription, they were suddenly asking me to cancel AI assistant to trick me, as a result I got charged for pro plan after few days. So disappointed with this company, don't trust them.

The ultimate scam from adobe is prepaid yearly subscription with all these features and cloud storage and no way to disable auto renewal.  So I thought I'd try to canel the yearly so it won't auto renew next year and they grab you by the throat and state if you do that you'll lose all the features you ALREADY paid for, ridiculous.   There is a class action suit against them for this, google it and join!!!!!

One year prepaid plans can be cancelled immediately after the initial 14 days, and they will continue until the end of the paid periode. That's exactly what your screens are showing. And that's disabling auto renewal.

You did not read the 233 days of continued service!

I am the latest person who got scammed. And worst, I am stuck with an annual subscription that is gonna cost me so much in penalty that I am forced to stay on, and I need to remember next year to cancel ahead of time. I also have screenshot of an Adobe guy promising me the price is fixed.

100% shady practice and a straight scam!

Why is it a scam? because they 100% did this intentionally. Same happened to me i paid my early cancelation fee and i will never be using thier tools ever again.

Absolutely agree. This new "model" of subscriptions is true servitude. Now you can't just buy the product, you have to become a financial slave.

Try changing to their lowest cost plan, once processed, try cancelling. I did and it  processed a credit to my account then I cancelled the new plan and it did not charge me the pro rated amount to the end of the subscription period. Sweet!

Very dissapointed in Adobe, they are con artists getting you to think you are signing on to a monthly subscription then stealing your money in "early cancellation fees", that were not properly disclosed at the outset. I'm interested in any legal action anyone has any tips on. Beware of Adobe, I thought they were a reputable company, total scam artists.
