Please can someone let me know why Adobe is overcharging its UK customers by around 20%?

For the photography package, which includes Lightroom and Photoshop, it has a price, in the US, of $9.99, but if you happen to live in the UK it costs £9.98 (per month). At today's exchange rate, the UK price should really be £7.74 (so that means UK customers are being overcharged by around 20% compared with their US counteparts).

Put another way, the price in the UK is the equivalent of around $13.

I just went to the U.K. website and saw a Black Friday special for an annual plan, paid monthly for £8.32. I don't speak for Adobe, but it appears (to me) that part of the cost difference may be the Value Added Tax.

In the UK, the price display includes VAT.
On the other hand, the price display in the US and Japan is the price display without VAT, so it may actually be appropriate if VAT is added to the displayed price.

For reference, in Japan, the rate on November 15, 2019 is $ 1 = 108.73 JPY.
The Photography Plan (20G) is 980 JPY, but VAT is added by 10%,

so it becomes 1,078 JPY, which is about $ 9.91. In the case of US, when VAT is added, it can be rather high.
