Substance for students / redemption code not working

I am not sure if this is the correct category for this question, so sorry about that.

Basically I applied to Substance apps for students program, verified my identity and received my redemption code. However when I try to apply it, it errors; “This seems like a mistake on our end. Shall the issue persist, contact customer support.”

I did try contacting customer support but no luck. Half of it went with the chat bot and in the other half I was told that I would be called by an expert but I wasn’t.

Any help is appreciated.
