Surprise pricing increase

My Adobe Sign just renewed at nearly double the price of last year.  This makes them twice the price of all their competitors.  I am very dissappointed at this business strategy.  It just drives me away and in my view defines Adobe as an operation that will take advantage of their customers at least as regards this aspect of their busines model.  I much prefer dealing with transparent operations that act with greater fairness and will be cancelling the account after the current documents that are out for signature are returned.

1 - did you have a special introductory price?

2 - This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support to ask about the increase, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link below
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for this to work
    https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/support.html for chat or https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
-click the chat icon at the bottom right of the page to open a chat session
-the chat icon looks like '3 dots inside a circle' at the lower right
-type AGENT into the chat window to connect directly to a person rather than the AI
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
