Switching from Apple subscription

I bought LR 1TB from the Mac store and paid monthly through them. I would now like to purchase the Photography Plan which the Mac store does not have. So, I canceled my subscription, went on the adobe website but it wouldn't let me purchase it. Said I already have Lightroom installed. I believe this is because although I ended my subscription, it still runs until the end of the month. Tried chatting with customer service which was no help. I'm also worried about my photos transferring over from the apple based subscription to the adobe one when I finally do get this straightened out. Anyone else go through this?

I checked your account details and found that the subscription is still active and cancelation did not go through. Did you receive any confirmation email after the cancelation was done?

cancellations are immediate.  check with apple to confirm it's canceled.

Appreciate you reaching out with an answer but it's not true. When you cancel via an apple subscription, it will show as canceled but be active for the remaining days you have left. For example, if you cancel on the 1st of the month but you get billed on the 21st, your subscription will still be active until the 21st. As a teacher, I'd like to take advantage of the Creative suite or the Photography plan but it won't allow me until, I guess, my apple subscription isn't fully active anymore

thanks for that information.  with adobe, cancellations are immediate.
