I’m a teacher and I’ve used Adobe CC via school account. Now my employment is ending, and I want to buy personal Photography version. What is the procedure I must do so that I can continue to work with my photos.

If you use Cloud storage for your files be sure to copy them to your computer before your school account ends

If you don't have space on your computer drive use an external drive for files
A USB flash drive to carry with you... here are 2, there are many more available
    PNY brand https://www.amazon.com/PNY-512GB-Turbo-Attach%C3%A9-Flash/dp/B0BF5VHLBZ
    SanDisk https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-512GB-Ultra-Flash-Drive/dp/B083ZLJ5MG
Other flash drives are 1 or even 2 Terabytes

Thank you. I mainly use Lightroom Classic and I have all the images in one catalog. If I remove all Adobe CC programs (school account) from the desktop, buy and install the personal version of Photography (includes Lightroom Classic and Photoshop) on the machine, I can just simply open that catalog and the images are exactly as they were the last time I edited images with that school version. Is that how it goes?

ie, there's no special education photography plan (because it's so inexpensive ~$10/mo if you check/subscribe carefully).

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
