From the time you join Creative Cloud, you have 14 days to cancel without a fee.  Thereafter, there is a 50% early cancellation fee for Annual subscription members.  So if 6 months of service remain on your contract, the cancellation fee is 3 months of payments.

There is a costlier month-to-month option for people who don't want to commit to 1 year of service at a guaranteed price.  That rate is subject to increases but you may cancel anytime without penalty.
