tried to change password, but to do that must put in my present password. I did but Adobe doesn't recognize it.

first, try using a mobile phone's updated non-opera browser with wifi disabled to enter your password.  if that fails follow ​@NB, colourmanagement’s suggestion to reset your password, but if you don’t remember your account, use https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/unknown-charge-on-bill.html

Scott  Looks like yuour curent password is incorrect, in any case tyou’ll need to reset - To recover a lost Adobe password, you must use the official Adobe Account recovery system, as Photoshop itself does not have a standalone password reset for the software license separate from the Adobe ID. 

1. Reset via Email or Phone Visit https://account.adobe.com and select Get help signing in.  

Enter the email address associated with your Adobe account, then select Reset your password.  You will receive a verification code via email or SMS (if your phone number is registered) to verify your identity.  

Enter the code and then create a new password.

2. If You Don’t Remember Your Email If you cannot recall which email is linked to your Adobe ID, select Find your account on the sign-in page and try entering alternate email addresses you may have used.  

If you have access to a credit card statement showing an Adobe charge, you can contact Adobe Support directly with the transaction number to help identify or recover your account.
