Trying to cancel but cancel fee isn't 0 even after a year

I subscribed the Adobe Creative Cloud annual subscription March 4th, 2022. It's been a year and I'm trying to cancel and to my knowledge the cancel fee should now be 0. But it still says £137 which indicates that I'm still on my 7th month. I've checked by bank details and have paid for all 12 months, monthly. So why am I still gonna be charged to cancel?

Correct answer Abambo

Subscriptions renew for a full year, if not cancelled the last month of the subscription. You really should discuss your options with Adobe customer care, as @Rashmi27002770wxve suggests.

No yeah I missed that part. I have decided to take the L and pay the fee so I can be done with all of it.

@Leonardo Laur29098357ph8t

contact adobe support and explain your expectation that you would be able to cancel the renewal at any time without penalty.  (there was a time this was adobe policy, i believe.)

there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
