Trying to switch emails

Hi,

So I have a bit of a situation. My current Creative Cloud subsription is going to end very soon (within a couple days) and I wanted to switch emails because this account is currently linked to my school email, which I don't want to use. I tried switch my account's associated email the my MAIN email, but it said I already had an account attached to it. I deleted the account that my main email was using, waited 2 days for the account to be permantly deleted, and Adobe STILL  WON'T LET ME USE MY EMAIL!!! I have no idea what to do now. The goal is to switch email 1 out for email 2, but email 2 has been deleted and for some reason I can't use it with my current account. So annoying.

This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link below
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for this to work
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/support.html for chat or https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html
-click the chat icon at the bottom right of the page to open a chat session
-the chat icon looks like '3 dots inside a circle' at the lower right
-type AGENT into the chat window to connect directly to a person rather than the AI
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long

Sign-up for a free Gmail account and use that to replace your school e-mail.
