Question

Two accounts, same e-mail adress

Hi, I'm a university student from Italy.

About two years ago, my university provided an Adobe student plan to all students who needed it, linked to our university email addresses. I stopped using that plan (and cancelled it) because I no longer needed it at the time.

Recently, I was given access to a new Adobe plan to attend other courses. However, it was activated using the same university email, and now I seem to have two different Adobe accounts linked to that one address:
– the first one is a Personal Profile
– the second one is an Enterprise Profile, connected to the new plan.

I was advised to log out of the personal account before signing in with the enterprise one to avoid conflicts. I followed those instructions and downloaded the apps I need. However, whenever I try to open them, I receive a warning saying that I only have 5 days left because the plan has expired.

I hope I explained the situation clearly enough. English isn't my first language, and this is my first time using a forum to ask for help. I also can't contact Adobe support directly because it's an Enterprise account, and with summer holidays going on, I doubt the university admin will reply in time.

Thank you for your attention and any help you can offer!

Thanks for posting your question about account selection to this public discussion forum. Barbara. I can confirm that your personal plan has been canceled successfully. Please follow the steps in https://adobe.ly/3IETBJE to use the account chooser to sign in under the account managed by your school.

If you want to remove the personal profile, you will need to change the email address first, since the address is also claimed by your school. Please see https://adobe.ly/40vcqFc for details on how to change the email address. The option to change the email address will not be available if you are logged in under the account managed by your school. ^JW

Thanks for your answer Jeffrey.

I changed my email to a different one (never used before) but it got changed on both accounts and the issue is still the same. Should I delete the personal account now? (it's definetely not a problem, since I don't really need it).

Thank you again

Barbara
