Question

Unable to cancel Acrobat Pro and AI Assistant due to billing issue

Hello,

I want to cancel both my Acrobat Pro and AI Assistant for Acrobat subscriptions. However, my account has a billing issue, and Adobe does not allow me to manage or cancel the plans. I reached the final cancellation step, but the “Confirm cancellation” button remained disabled.

I also tried contacting Adobe through the Virtual Assistant, but the chatbot did not respond or connect me with a human agent. I do not want to update my payment method or continue either subscription.

Please help manually cancel both subscriptions, stop all future billing attempts, and confirm that both plans have been cancelled.

Thank you.

@daring_helper3753

you have to fix your payment problem in order to cancel, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

then make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", you probably have a payment error that you need to repair before cancellation is allowed, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

Connect to the official channels to work out a solution. Payment issues need to be resolved before cancellation. If you are within the refund period you will be refunded even if you get charged. See

Thank you for your response.

I have already tried contacting Adobe through the official Customer Care chat several times, but the Virtual Assistant did not respond or connect me with a human agent. The self-service cancellation process is also blocked at the final step because of the billing issue.

Could an Adobe Community Manager please assist me or provide a direct and secure way to contact an official support agent? I want both Acrobat Pro and AI Assistant for Acrobat cancelled, and I do not want to reactivate or continue either subscription.

If there is a valid outstanding payment that must be resolved first, please have an official Adobe representative confirm the reason and amount through a secure channel.

Thank you.
