Unable to cancel my plan

After paying for Adobe Pro service for 2.5 years I am now attempting to cancel since I know longer have the need for it.

2 Questions:

  1. Why do you put “we get it” next to the option to cancel and then open a popup that just spins without ever loading a screen where I can actually cancel?
  2. Why is there no option to actually get through to a human being to get this resolved? Even to get here I had to finagle through several different screens where most links just sent me in a circle back to prior pages that didn’t work.

Please proceed to cancel my plan as of today and send me confirmation of this. (I shouldn’t have to hassle with this further.)

Thanks!

no one here can cancel for you.

try using a mobile phone's updated non-opera browser with wifi disabled to cancel your subscription and make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

if you want to cancel but are unable to follow the steps described in the "how to cancel page", you probably have a payment error that you need to repair before cancellation is allowed, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/fix-failed-missed-payment.html

Thanks for posting to this public discussion forum, @dcc700.

I apologize for the problems you have encountered in managing your plan and reaching us. I can confirm there are no records of any of your previous attempts, @dcc700.

@creative explorer brings up a great point: if an organization manages your network connection or device, then your inability to reach us or do anything beyond posting to a public discussion forum could be by design, @dcc700. Please work with whoever manages the device to reach us or manage your plan.

If you manage the network yourself, @dcc700, then please use a different device or computer to complete the self-cancel process listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/account/individual/subscriptions-and-plans/renewals-and-cancellations/cancel-adobe-subscription.html and as suggested by @kglad.

Please update this public discussion thread if you have any additional questions, @dcc700.

Thanks - I ended up closing the attempts out because they were hung up and not going anywhere. I am an individual who purchased this individually. I was able to get this to work from a mobile browser, so the issue is now resolved.

Thanks for the update, @dcc700! I am glad a mobile browser worked for you, and I apologize again for the problems you encountered with this whole process.

I hope you have a great day, @dcc700!

Yes - I am capable of following instructions and the site wasn’t working. I was able to get this to work from a mobile browser, so thank you for that suggestion. Perhaps their site is optimized for mobile now, but it’s not like Adobe lacks the resources to ensure their site works for different platforms and browsers so their customers don’t have to hassle with trying to find what works! And God forbid Adobe provides a support representative to help!

@dcc700 I have cancelled one of my accounts through the ‘https://account.adobe.com/plans’ — and it was pretty straight forward for me. But, I did do it after-hours so that my internet was stable. I didn’t want to mess it up:

Yes - that didn’t work for me and there was no internet issues on my end. (It’s not as if Adobe doesn’t have the resources to ensure their servers have enough bandwidth.) It ended up being a compatibility issue as I was able to get this to go through without issue on a mobile browser. But again, it’s not like Adobe doesn’t have the resources to test their site from different platforms and browsers.
