Unable to change secondary email on Adobe account

I'm working on my Behance portfolio and decided to go into my Adobe ID to update my information. Listed under my secondary email is a now defunct email address from my old job. When I go to remove or change, it says I'm signing in with a social account and I have to change my password. I have no idea what this means.

 

How can I get rid of my secondary email address? The company I used to work for is out of business and I have no way to get in touch with them. And even if I could, the accounts are now closed with no way to access.
