Unable to Purchase Adobe InDesign: Card and ZIP Code Highlighted in Red

Hi, I'm trying to purchase Adobe InDesign, but I keep encountering a payment error. The message I receive says:
"The transaction may fail for various reasons. Please double-check and ensure your payment details are entered correctly. If this problem persists, you may need to use a different payment method or contact your bank."

The system highlights my card and ZIP code fields in red, but my card works perfectly fine on other services. I'm not sure what could be wrong with the ZIP code. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to fix it? Thank you!

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

you can see if adobe support is able to use your credit card.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.
