Question

Unauthorized Charges

As others in this forum, I have been charged $4.99 and $19.99 monthly for products/services I never requested. I called customer service and first, they asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card to locate the charges. Once they did, they asked for the first 6 digits, which I refused to provide. This is a scam! Wonder how many customers Adobe is ripping off with unauthorized charges. I reported this to my bank as a scam and will proceed to further raise a claim. Embarrassing!

    Thanks for posting, @Alvin27701268lvj4.

Thank you for being a long-time Adobe customer!

I'm sorry for the confusion and concern this has caused. I checked the account associated with your community profile and can confirm there is an active Lightroom plan on it that started in December 2022.

I also noticed you mentioned contacting Adobe before, but I am not seeing any record of recent support interactions for the account linked to your community profile. If you contacted Adobe using a different email address or Adobe ID, that could explain the discrepancy.

If the charge you're questioning matches your Lightroom subscription, it may be related to that active plan. However, if you're seeing additional Adobe charges that you don't recognize, I recommend using Adobe's Charge Finder tool to identify exactly what the charge is connected to:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/in/account/individual/billing-and-payments/payment-and-billing-issues/unknown-charge-on-bill.html

This tool can help identify charges associated with another Adobe account, a family member using the same payment method, or a different Adobe product or service.

If you're still unable to identify the charge after reviewing the information provided by the Charge Finder tool, please let us know what you discover, and the community can help guide you further, @Alvin27701268lvj4.

use https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/unknown-charge-on-bill.html?linkId=100000379229962  to find the account(s) associated with those charges.

    then check the accounts, https://account.adobe.com
